ROSEBUD COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT SOCIETY (RCES)

RCES is a non-profit society acting as a liaison between the Rosebud hamlet and Wheatland County and serving as a legal entity for individuals who wish to accomplish something of value in the community of Rosebud.

The objects of the society are:

  1. To construct, purchase, establish, maintain and operate, on a non-profit basis, programs and facilities for the enhancement and enjoyment of the arts, recreation, health and wellness
  2. To promote and advance the wellbeing of the community of Rosebud

The operations of the Society are to be chiefly carried on in the Hamlet of Rosebud, in the Province of Alberta.

Committees

Committees, or Task Forces, are established to work on projects that improve the services and appeal of the Rosebud hamlet for residents and visitors. Current working committees include:

  • Beautification / Trees and Flowers
  • Directional Signage
  • Grants
  • Marketing / Community Promotion
  • Picnic Shelter / Public Washrooms
  • Public Safety
  • Rosebud Arts Collective
  • Transit (Bicycles)
  • Sustainability / Compost / Community Garden

Membership
Annual Membership is $20 individual, $30 business/institution.
Members have voting privileges and participate in at least one of the committees listed above.
